1. Who We Are

Pistis is operated by Brandon Bedford, doing business as Pistis, a sole proprietorship registered in South Korea (registration no. 879-03-03501). This policy covers both the Pistis app and this website (pistisapp.com).

2. The App Collects No Data

Pistis has no account, no server, and no backend. Your verse readings, reflections, examen entries, prayer records, streak, and settings are stored only on your device, in local app storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere, seen by anyone, or used for any purpose beyond running the app on your phone. We do not collect, sell, or share your data, because we never receive it in the first place.

3. This Website Collects Your Email, Nothing Else

If you join the waitlist on this website, we collect the email address you provide, used solely to notify you when Pistis is ready. We do not sell, share, or use it for any other purpose. No account is created, and no other personal data is collected from website visitors.

4. Payment Information

Subscription and trial billing is processed by Apple through its standard In-App Purchase system (via RevenueCat, which reads purchase status only — not journal or reflection content). Apple is the Merchant of Record and handles your payment details under its own privacy practices. Pistis does not receive, store, or have access to your card information.

5. Data Deletion

App data: if you delete the app, your data is deleted with it. There is no cloud backup, no account to close, and no request process for data deletion, because nothing leaves your device in the first place.

Waitlist email: contact support@pistisapp.com at any time to have your email removed from the waitlist.

6. Children's Privacy

Pistis does not knowingly direct itself to children and collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age, beyond the waitlist email described above.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app or this website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
